Chris Marcantel

Chris Marcantel began his show business career as an actor. Upon graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he joined the New York stage, originating roles in plays by Craig Lucas and in Harvey Fierstein's Tony award-winning "Torch Song Trilogy." This led to numerous television roles and the opportunity to co-star with such Hollywood luminaries as Mildred Dunnock, Warren Oates and E.G. Marshall. Chris played the son of Colleen Dewhurst in the CBS movie "Baby Comes Home," and was a series regular in "Nurse." In addition to his work in primetime TV, Chris worked in contract roles on the daytime soaps "Another World," "Guiding Light" (which he also directed) and "Loving." Chris has produced and directed dozens of commercials, videos and short films.
